BRAUN Maschinenfabrik is situated in the heart of the Upper Austrian "Salzkammergut", a marvellous recreation area surrounded by 40 lakes, among them Toplitzsee, Grundlsee, Altausseer See, Hallstätter See, Gosauseen, Wolfgangsee, Mondsee, Fuschlsee, Irrsee, Schwarzensee, Attersee and Traunsee, Langbathseen, Offensee and Laudachsee.

Once it was the summer resort of the Austrian Emperor and the nobility - and they did know why!
