Dry abrasive cut-off machine type TS 6 V with turning facility

In the course of the overall manufacturing process the tubes must be cut to length. This is cleanly and quickly performed by an abrasive cut-off machine. To be able to utilize the cutting wheels in the best possible way, cutting is effected as rotary cutting (i.e. the tube is rotated during cutting), so that the tool must penetrate only the wall of the tube. Rotating of the tube is effected by special turning chucks. The plant is operated either semi-automatic (from the control desk) or fully automatic via interconnection to upstream and downstream machines.
