There are various applications for abrasive cut-off machines in finishing lines. In most cases they serve the purpose of cutting the workpieces to their final lengths. A gentle handling of the workpieces to protect the surface as well as clean cutting surfaces are important criteria. The whole line including the abrasive cut-off machine is usually operated fully automatic. Frequently, a material buffer is provided on the feeding side. Material troughs or special pilers are arranged on the discharge side.
